While for the most part the employees are helpful, Lowe's online ordering has been a big headache. I understand there's a limited space for larger items but why I have to wait 10-15 minutes and first time was nearly 20 minutes was beyond me. Smaller items are never ready whenever I get a notification that it's "ready". If it's ready to be picked up, it should AT at the counter ready to be picked up. I stopped doing online ordering and just go into the store checking the stock first at this point. It's pretty disappointing to say the least. Only Best Buy has rock solid online ordering process in the local area so far. Please fix this Lowe's. We've spent closed to $2,000 recently and wish this area could improve which would save us on time!

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! This forced me to select a star, but if I could have, they'd receive negative stars. I highly recommend going to Home Depot instead. I've never had a problem with them, and will continue to only use them in the future. First of all, we ordered a washer and dryer online and planned on going to the store to pick them up ourselves because we needed them right away. It stated on the website that they had both items in stock. Two hours after ordering, they called and left voicemails stating that they didn't have the dryer in stock, wouldn't be able to get it in store for another two weeks, and refused to offer any discount due to the inconvenience. Annoying, but not the end of the world. When I called they said it was the washer (not dryer) that wasn't in stock. I was able to get them to commit to having it in store in two days, guaranteed. So two days later, I borrowed a friend's truck to use for pickup. I had spoken to three different employees that day, all of which told me they didn't even see an order for me anywhere in their system, even after I gave EACH of them my name, phone number, order number, and item number. They told me that they did, in fact, have the dryer in stock, though. Each of them also told me that I'd get a call back from a manager, which never happened. This is already over the span of two hours after my first call to them. I finally spoke to someone, who spoke to a manager and said they could give us the floor models for the next best Whirlpool models for a discount so that it would have been the same price as the ones we ordered. We didn't want floor models that people have been pushing buttons and opening and closing the doors all day. Plus, that discount should have been applied to a floor model anyway, never mind our situation. I called Home Depot and they matched the price, gave us a 10% discount, and told us they'd just ship us the washer and dryer, additional parts needed, and install it for free because of our terrible experience at Lowe's - now that's customer service. I then spoke to someone at Lowe's who was going to refund me the full amount for the washer and dryer, only to find out from her that the dryer had only been charged to our account because the washer was damaged. Not ONE of the employees I had spoken to over the past three days had mentioned that the washer they had in store for me that was "ready for pickup" was actually damaged. I spent about half my day just trying to figure out if my dryer was at the store. That's pretty bad. Bottom line - I don't wish this sort of customer service on anyone, so if you want to save yourself some hassle, go to Home Depot.
