HORRIBLE SERVICE! I was looking for a generator all over Massachusetts and southern NH because we have this HUGE blizzard coming. I called the Rochester NH SEARS, and found one. I paid for it via credit card two days BEFORE I went to pick it up. Two days later I got a text and an email that the generator was ready to be picked up. I called the store to ask them where I went to pick it up and they told me where. I drove two hours through back woods and banjos playing to go get the generator. When I was SEVEN MINUTES away I get a call from SEARS telling me they made a mistake and they don't have the generator. I've picked things up at several SEARS before and they all worked the same way. The email doesn't go out telling you the item is ready for pick up until the item has been removed from the shelf and scanned into the computer, then physically moved to the pick up area and scanned in there as well.To say I was EXTREMELY pissed is an understatement! To try to make things better they offer me 5% off the price, and will deliver the generator to my house (for a fee of course) but it won't get there until 2 days after the storm. Figuring this isn't the last storm I will ever see I took the offer rather continuing to the Sears and catching a felony case. When I got home I called the number they gave me to get the generator shipped and the discount, but the girl said she had no idea what I was talking about. Even after giving her the name of the person I spoke to, 20 minutes later I was still trying to get this done. Needless to say I had enough and cancelled everything. All because some employee realized this storm was going to be huge and decided to take my generator for himself. I'm not an idiot, I know what happened. This is what you get when inbreeding meets millennials.
